After 12 years, Ann Snyder will leave her role as president and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands and Interfaith Community Clinic, effective April 1.

“Dr. Ann Snyder has been instrumental in carrying out Interfaith’s mission of building a more loving and caring community through service,” Interfaith board chair Ray Sanders said in a statement. “She will leave behind a legacy of dedication and excellence.”

Snyder said she plans to focus her time on other efforts in The Woodlands and her family. She was elected to serve a two-year term on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors in November.

Snyder has been active in The Woodlands area for years. She served as a Conroe ISD trustee for 15 years and was previously named the Montgomery County Woman of Distinction and won a Montgomery County People of the Year award.

Interfaith Community Clinic was founded in 1996 as a way to meet the medical needs of the uninsured population. The nonprofit now provides a number of services, including medical and dental care, counseling and patient services.
