DFW China Town is teaming up with the team behind Brizo’s CarBaret and the Asian Film Festival of Dallas to host the inaugural Drive-In Night Market, which will also include a screening of “Karate Kid.”

The event, planned for Nov. 6 at 6:30 p.m., will feature various China Town restaurants, such as Jeng Chi Restaurant and Bar, Canton Chinese, Genroku Sushi, Tofu Factory, Java Land Coffee Haus, Sichuan King and Good Fortune Supermarket. Vendors will set up tents in the parking lot where guests can sample a selection of Asian food and drink options. Guests must wear masks while visiting booths.

“Karate Kid” will be shown on a 30-foot flat screen projector and broadcast over 95.7 FM. The event is limited to 70 cars, and attendees must register for a $20 parking space. A limited number of individual outdoor seats will be available for $11.

Food ticket bundles can be preordered here for $16. Food and drink options will be priced at $4, $8 or $12 and will include sushi, takoyaki, potato croquette, salt and pepper chicken, fried wonton, dumplings and more. Jeng Chi will be serving a custom cocktail, and other alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages will be available.
