The city of Frisco is the fastest-growing city in the United States, according to a study by a financial-advising website.

The site, WalletHub, ranked 515 U.S. cities based on 14 metrics. The metrics were organized into two evenly weighted categories: socio-demographics, including population growth; and jobs and economy, such as median household income growth and decline in the poverty rate.

Frisco ranked first overall and also ranked first among midsize cities. Frisco also ranked first among all cities for job growth.

The city of Frisco estimates its population as of Sept. 1 was 157,860.
