At a March 23 meeting, the Pflugerville ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve Todd Raymond as the new athletic director.

For the past five years, Raymond worked at Lehman High School in Hays ISD as the athletic coordinator and head football coach. He has also served in the same positions at Austin McCallum High School in Austin ISD.

In 2009 and 2010, while at McCallum HS, Raymond was awarded Coach of the Year for District 26-4A.

Prior to that, Raymond worked as an assistant coach and math teacher at Liberty Hill High School in Liberty Hill ISD, McCallum High School in AISD and Stony Point High School in Round Rock ISD.

"I'm really looking forward to supporting the students, coaches and community," Raymond said.

Interim Superintendent Gary Patterson said he was incredibly impressed with Raymond throughout the interview process.

"His experience in athletic program management across all sports and multiple campuses while at Lehman High Shcool is a great fit for Pflugerville ISD and we look forward to his leadership with our growing athletics program," Patterson said.
