There is still plenty going on this week in Round Rock, Pflugerville and Hutto. Here is what you need to know to stay updated:

1. Pflugerville ISD will consider becoming a District of Innovation Thursday night at a public hearing. This hearing follows a resolution adopted at PfISD's Feb. 16 meeting that started the exploration process. Read more about districts of innovation here.

2. The fifth annual Amplify Austin kicks off at 6 p.m. on Thursday. This 24-hour marathon of giving has set a goal of $9 million for more than 700 nonprofits spread throughout Central Texas. One of these nonprofits is Hutto Has Heart, which will host an event 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Baked 'n Sconed, 143 Exchange Blvd., Ste. 100, Hutto. Another nonprofit involved is the Pflugerville Education Foundation. The foundation will be hosting a happy hour party for all donors on Friday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Cheddar's, 15119 N. 3. Round Rock Arts will host the ninth annual Imagine: An Evening of Art and Performance Saturday evening. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the area's largest annual art exhibit with a total of 180 pieces. All artwork will be available for purchase. Read more about the event here.
