The city of Pflugerville said it will wait and see how the forecast looks before it continues plans for Saturday’s Christmas Parade and the Pfestival of Lights.

Several events are planned for the day and evening of Dec. 3, but due to the forecast rain and dropping temperatures, the city will decide at 2 p.m. Friday if events will be held.

A parade with Santa, the official Christmas tree lighting, concerts and shopping at the Downtown Association’s Holiday Stroll Sidewalk Sale are among the highlights.

As of 3 p.m. Wednesday, the weather.com forecast calls for a 90 percent chance of thunderstorms, dropping in temperature from the mid-50s Saturday to upper-40s by Sunday.

A complete schedule of events is available on the city's website. Parade and Pfestival of Lights updates will be posted on the city website and at here, on communityimpact.com

Round Rock and Hutto have events planned that will take place rain or shine, unless there is severe weather.
