The city of Leander is widening Old FM 2243 from two to live lanes between US 183 and a location west of North Lakeline Boulevard.[/caption]

Cedar Park

The city of Cedar Park will utilize a four-way stop in place of the traffic signal at the Lakeline Boulevard and Little Elm Trail intersection tonight while construction crews move signal poles to make way for a new right-turn lane, said Jennie Huerta, media and communications manager. As long as weather permits, the all-way stop will begin at 8 p.m., she said.

Leander

Shoppers at the H-E-B in Leander at the corner of US 183 and Old FM 2243 may have an easier time navigating into the parking lot by the end of next week.

Leander City Engineer Wayne Watts said the easternmost entrance into H-E-B has been closed while construction continues on Old FM 2243. The H-E-B has operated with its two other entrances. Watts said he expects construction crews to have the third entrance back open and fully functional by Wednesday of next week.
