Jan. 6 will be Pflugerville Police Chief Chuck Hooker's last day on the job, and the city of Pflugerville will mark the milestone with a retirement party in his honor.
According to an announcement from city of Pflugerville officials, the celebration will take place at the Pflugerville Justice Center, 1611 E. Pfenning Lane, from 9 a.m.-noon Jan. 6.
Hooker joined the Pflugerville Police Department in 1983 and
announced last fall his intent to retire in 2017.
