“We believe that Texas is the best market in the U.S. for our value proposition, so we have decided to invest in building our Texas corporate office in Round Rock to enable us to more easily add staff rapidly as we grow,” said Tim Thoman, President and Founder of Performance Services in a statement. “The leadership in the city of Round Rock have been great to work with so far in expediting the project.”The company plans to break ground in April on a 60,000-square-foot facility to be built on 16 acres at 801 E. Old Settlers Boulevard, with completion expected in early 2018.
Performance Services is an integrated design and delivery engineering company focused on construction and renovation of public facilities for optimal efficiency and performance. They were established in Indiana in 1998, and have done work for institutions such as Purdue University, the city of Indianapolis and the Bell County Expo Center.
“We are very excited to add Performance Services to our community. This is a great company and they want to be very active in our city,” said Round Rock Chamber Vice President, Ben White in a statement. “This adds another regional headquarters to our corporate climate and Performance Services has found a great location with connectivity to major highways and close proximity to major education centers.”
Performance Services will make an initial investment of $12 million to build the new facility, and the company anticipates creating up to 70 jobs at the Round Rock office within the first five years according to the Round Rock Chamber.
