Since opening a year ago in Spring, Super Yummy Mongolian Stir-fry & Sushi has already acquired regular customers, Manager Gunn Chana-in said.

“A lot of customers know the area doesn’t have a lot of Mongolian stir-fry,” she said.

Super Yummy has two locations, one in Tomball and one in Spring. The Spring restaurant along Sawdust Road has been open for a year.

Super Yummy’s menu features sushi and sashimi items as well as Mongolian fare. The restaurant draws people who want a varied menu, she said.

“Our food is fresh, and [we offer] lot of options for them,” she said. “Sometimes a family will come and some like stir-fry, and the rest, they like sushi.”

The Sawdust Road restaurant has been a boon for the business, Chana-in said.

“This area is good because it’s close to [the] ExxonMobil [campus in Spring],” she said. “There’s a lot of people in the area. It’s close to the highway, and it’s in the big shopping mall.”

Super Yummy offers daily happy hour sushi and drink specials, including a chef’s “special roll” from 2:30- 6 p.m. for $2 off the regular price.

“Every month we have specials for weekdays and weekends,” Chana-in said. “And [we have specials] for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.”

Chana-in said diners can text “superyummy” to the number 95577, and they will receive a list of the specials.

A customer reward card was also introduced this past year at the restaurant—customers earn points toward special discounts and free food.

“We already did that, and we plan to do it one more time,” Chana-in said.
