Hutto's first Starbucks location is slated to open July 28[/caption]

A Starbucks Coffee Company store will open off Hwy. 79 near Ed Schmidt Blvd. in Hutto on July 28, a Starbucks spokesperson confirmed Wednesday.

Starbucks sells coffee and tea drinks, pastries and pre-prepared snacks and meals, according to the company’s website.

The new location will mark the first Starbucks location in Hutto.

“We are always excited to welcome a new business to Hutto and Starbucks will be a great addition,” said Erin Klingemann, interim president for the Hutto Economic Development Corp. “The location on 79 will attract more highway traffic to stop in our city.”

The store hours will be Sun.-Thurs. 5 a.m.-10 p.m. and Fri.-Sat. 5 a.m.-11 p.m., according to the company.
