According to unofficial results, Jerri Jones has won the Republican nomination for Williamson County Treasurer with 51.33 percent of the vote.

Michell Cantwell received 27.04 percent of the votes and Ralph Pruyn received 21.64 percent of the votes, based on tallies from the Williamson County Elections Office.

A total of 20,331 votes were cast in the race. Jones received 10,435 votes, Cantwell received 5,497 votes and Pruyn received 4,399 votes. All 77 polling locations have reported.

Voter turnout for the March 4 election was 12.58 percent of the county's 254,322 registered voters.

In the Republican primary race for Williamson County Treasurer, Jerri Jones leads with 54.57 percent of the vote, trailed by Michell Cantwell with 24.54 percent of the vote and Ralph Pruyn with 20.89 percent of the vote, based on unofficial early voting totals from the Williamson County Elections Office.

Jones, Cantwell and Pruyn are all vying to replace Vivian L. Wood, who was first elected to office in 1994. The treasurer serves as the county's banker and is the chief custodian of all county finances.

A total of 11,903 votes were cast in the treasurer election during early voting. Jones received 6,496 votes, Cantwell received 2,921 votes and Pruyn received 2,486 votes.
