Blue Mug Cafe offers customers fresh, quality meals in minutes in an upscale, fast, casual restaurant.

It also encourages customers to relax in the restaurant for as long as they would like.

"We want people to make Blue Mug their Friday hang out," Manager Joshua Leone said. "Every Friday we have live music with local bands, and we offer complimentary wine or beer tasting. The music is in the background, so you can still enjoy your meal and conversation. And we are very family-friendly."

The cafe, which opened March 28, offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and a full bar.

Blue Mug Cafe offers 10 beers on tap, including five from Texas breweries, Leone said. The restaurant also features 135 types of wine, 115 of which can be purchased by the glass.

In addition, the restaurant has happy hour drink specials Monday through Friday and all day on Sunday, and has an extended happy hour on Fridays until 9:30 p.m.

The cafe is known for its commitment to keeping things natural and fresh. It does not use corn syrup and its meats—purchased from Magnolia's Ainsworth Meat—are free-range and hormone-free. Its fish are wild caught.

"We've seen great response to our menu," Leone said. "We make almost everything from scratch, and we have very generous portions."
