Learn how your next car wash could change lives

Dallas - Fort Worth

Learn how your next car wash could change lives

Sponsored by: WhiteWater Express

At WhiteWater Express Car Wash, car washes are more than a way to keep vehicles sparkling; they’re a way to spark change in the communities served. With more than 130 locations across six states, WhiteWater Express is leveraging its reach to make a difference.

“We see it as our responsibility to give back,” Director of Branding Devann Blake said. “The communities where we live and work support us daily, and it’s important to us to support them in return—through local initiatives or larger national partnerships.”

Making a local difference

WhiteWater Express supports the neighborhoods where its locations operate, ensuring each community benefits. Initiatives range from school fundraisers to neighborhood events, nonprofit programs and charity drives. In a single year, the company has supported more than 400 organizations across its six-state footprint.

The company supports local causes in three main ways:
  • Fundraising: Organizations can participate in promotions, receiving 50% of proceeds from designated campaigns.
  • Spirit days: Schools and nonprofits can host special days when a portion of sales from code-entered purchases is donated directly to the organization.
  • Donations: WhiteWater Express provides raffle items, silent auction prizes or goodies for community events.
Employees play a key role in these initiatives. Many live near the car washes, giving them a personal connection to the causes they support.

Through financial support, event participation and employee engagement, WhiteWater Express ensures each location contributes to create a lasting positive impact in the communities it serves.

Making a national impact

Beyond local efforts, WhiteWater Express leverages its nationwide presence to support large-scale causes.

Key national campaigns include:
  • Susan G. Komen–Wash for a Cause: Each October, $1 from every membership sold supports breast cancer research.
  • Make-A-Wish – Washes for Wishes: In July, $1 from each membership sold helps grant wishes for children with critical illnesses.
  • Toys for Tots: Starting late November and into December, WhiteWater Express will support children in need.
Through these campaigns, WhiteWater Express has donated more than $100,000 to Susan G. Komen and another $100,000 to Make-A-Wish in recent years, making a nationwide impact.

Employees and customers help spread awareness through co-branded items, such as air fresheners and dash wipes, that travel with cars and remind people of the supported causes.

Why giving back matters

For WhiteWater Express, community engagement and national partnerships are part of the company’s identity. With every wash, fundraiser or national campaign, the team is driven by a simple belief: success should be shared.

“We know how much our communities give to us,” Blake said. “It’s not enough to just operate in these neighborhoods—we have to be part of them. Giving back is our way of saying thank you and ensuring the support we receive is paid forward.”

This philosophy extends across the company, from employees volunteering locally to national campaigns raising awareness and funds for life-changing causes. By combining its reach with genuine commitment, WhiteWater Express ensures its impact goes beyond clean cars—it creates stronger, supported communities.

How to join the effort

WhiteWater Express makes it easy for customers and businesses to give back.
  • Support local initiatives: Participate in fundraisers, spirit days or donation drives at your neighborhood WhiteWater Express.
  • Visit in October: Each membership purchased this month contributes to Susan G. Komen’s breast cancer research efforts.
  • Washes for Wishes: Car washes nationwide can join the Make-A-Wish campaign by visiting https://www.whitewatercw.com/pages/washes-for-wishes and completing the registration form.
  • Enjoy customer perks: During these campaigns, new members often receive special discounts, making it easy to save money while supporting a cause.

By blending community support with everyday services, WhiteWater Express proves a simple car wash can be part of something bigger.
