When the Pauls family set out to find their forever home, they knew they wanted something that felt right from the start. That search led them to Parmer Ranch, where the very first model they toured made a lasting impression.

“This house was at the top of our budget, but [our realtor] wanted to show us a new build before having us look at everything else,” Parmer Ranch resident Amanda Pauls said. “We ended up coming back to this house; we literally fell in love with the model, ... and the investment was worth the lifetime memories and community at Parmer Ranch.”

That decision has blossomed into much more than just a new address. For the Pauls, Parmer Ranch has become the kind of neighborhood where families not only live side by side, but also grow together.

A street that feels like family

Since moving in, the family has been struck by how close-knit their street has become.

“We’re all one family,” Pauls said. “There are [about] seven houses on our street, and we get together every day.”

Neighbors gather casually at each other’s homes, by the pool or simply to lend a hand. The connection feels effortless, and for the Pauls, it has quickly turned neighbors into lifelong friends.

“It’s great [to see] how well we get along,” Pauls said. “We all have kids of similar ages; it’s been really nice.”

Amenities that shape daily life

Parmer Ranch was designed with families in mind. Its amenities have become part of the Pauls’ everyday rhythm.

“We are always at the pool. Over the summer, we were there almost every day,” Pauls said.

The community also features parks, trails and open spaces that encourage outdoor activity and time together. As Georgetown continues to grow, so do the conveniences right around the corner.

“We’re excited because now we have an H-E-B right down the street, and the schools are so close that we can walk to them [when our two-year-old is school-aged],” Pauls said.

For many residents, those everyday advantages make it easier to put down roots. They are confident that their investment in Parmer Ranch will grow alongside the neighborhood.

A calendar full of connection

Beyond casual gatherings, Parmer Ranch also hosts events designed to bring the wider community together. Concerts in the park, food trucks, beer tastings and end-of-summer parties give residents even more chances to connect. These activities reflect the development’s goal of creating not just a neighborhood, but a true community where families feel welcome and included.

The charm of Georgetown

The Pauls have discovered just how special Georgetown can be outside the neighborhood.

“We see people on Sundays talking in the middle of the H-E-B aisles,” Pauls said.

That small-town charm, paired with the conveniences of a growing city, adds to the appeal of choosing Parmer Ranch as a long-term home. Even local businesses embody the sense of connection that residents value.

“We got our oil [changed] at one of the local businesses, and on the wall, they had all of the sports teams they sponsor. It was really cute to see,” Pauls said.

Confidence in the future

Parmer Ranch continues to expand while staying true to its welcoming roots, with new builders such as Drees and Coventry adding homes to the community. For families like the Pauls, the combination of thoughtful design, authentic neighborly connections and everyday conveniences makes it a place worth recommending.

“Everybody here is so nice,” Pauls said. “It’s a nice area, and it’s quiet so far. The houses, the parks, the people and the community are great.”

At Parmer Ranch, families are not only finding the right home, but also discovering a place where connection and convenience come together—building community one family at a time.
