“It seems like we just have a stronger heartbeat,” Executive Director Tony Trevizo said. “The building's alive. We’ve got people everywhere. ... You can certainly sense that the building is full of life.”

A resident committee has been formed to help newcomers acclimate, with members assigned to welcome and guide new arrivals. Twice a month, the community hosts a new resident orientation, where all managers introduce themselves and explain their roles, helping to build a sense of familiarity and trust.
“The community just bands together,” Trevizo said. “They know that they're here to either entertain or to provide information for our residents. It's all about looking out for our seniors.”
