A new taxi company will immediately start serving the San Marcos area following approval from San Marcos City Council on Tuesday. Seton Medical Center Hays finishes construction of 30-bed surgical unit

Seton Medical Center Hays, 6001 Kyle Pkwy., Kyle, completed an expansion project Nov. 28, adding a 30-bed surgical unit on the fifth and final floor of the hospital. According to Seton Hays COO Neal Kelley, the new space will help improve Seton’s capability to treat trauma, recruit physicians and manage emergency room volume.
