With 21,308 ballots counted, Jennifer Adams, Arlene Chin and Berdetta Hodge appear to have won seats on the Tempe City Council, according to unofficial election results from Maricopa County Elections Department.

Final election results will be updated Friday, March 11, according to the county, after the signature cure deadline.

Seven candidates were competing for three at-large seats on the council. Elected candidates will be sworn in for four-year terms in July, according to the county. Vote by mail began in early February for Tempe voters.

Adams, Chin, Casey Clowes, Hodge, Gina Kash, Harper Lines and John Skelton were the candidates on the March 8 ballot. Adams is the only incumbent.

Adams had received 11,563 votes, Chin had received 11,873 votes and Hodge had received 10,107 votes at the time of the March 9 tabulation.
