Final striping on the road will need to be placed at the end of October to allow cure time for the pavement.
The project also included landscaping, sidewalks and street lights and involved the relocation of 69kV power lines.
The project, which started in January 2020, was delayed last October when the town issued a notice of termination to the previous contractor, Standard Construction Company, for what the town described as several uncured contractor defaults, or a failure to perform any of its material obligations under an agreement.
It resumed the first week of May under a new contractor, Surety Co.
The $3.03 million project was funded by the town of Gilbert and developer contributions.
