The Lindsay Road Interchange construction project will require a full westbound Loop 202-Santan Freeway closure between Higley Road and Val Vista Drive in the Gilbert/Chandler area from 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, to 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24.

The westbound Loop 202 on-ramps at Power, Higley and Williams Field roads and San Tan Village Parkway also will be closed.

The Arizona Department of Transportation suggests motorists traveling west on Loop 202 may consider exiting ahead of the closure and take Warner or Ray roads to Val Vista Drive to access Loop 202.

ADOT urges drivers to plan ahead for detours and travel delays. It asks drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the restrictions are in place.
