Gilbert motorists will have to navigate two weekend closures if they plan to use the freeways Jan. 7-10.

The westbound US 60-Superstition Freeway will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, until 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10, between Greenfield and Gilbert roads for pavement maintenance. Additionally, on-ramps at Power Road, Superstition Springs Boulevard and Higley Road also will be closed.


The westbound Loop 202 can be used as an alternate route.
The eastbound Loop 202-Santan Freeway will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, until 5 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, between McQueen and Gilbert roads for freeway sign installation. On-ramps at Alma School Road and Arizona Avenue also will be closed. The eastbound US 60-Superstition Freeway can be used as an alternate route.
