Lanes will be restricted and two ramps closed on the Loop 202-Santan Freeway on March 26-27 as part of construction work for an interchange at Lindsay Road.
The lane restrictions will start at 10 p.m. March 26 and last until 12:30 p.m. March 27. The freeway restrictions will be eastbound from Lindsay to Val Vista Drive and westbound from Lindsay to Gilbert roads.
The eastbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Val Vista will be closed with Santan Village Parkway as the alternative as well as the westbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Gilbert Road with Cooper Road as an alternative exit. Both ramps will be closed from 10 p.m. March 26 to 12:30 p.m. March 27.
The $18.15 million project is a partnership among the town of Gilbert, Maricopa Association of Governments and Arizona Department of Transportation with ADOT in charge of construction. The project is anticipated to be completed in March 2022.
