Construction is approximately 50% complete but delayed four to six weeks because of Salt River Project power pole relocations. Traffic is shifted to one lane in each direction on the east side of the street.
The project includes the relocation of the power lines and a raised/landscaped median from Ray Road to Loop 202-SanTan Freeway.
The project began in January and is anticipated to through March 2021 at a cost of $3.03 million paid from town of Gilbert bonds and funds and developer contributions.
