The annual Gilbert Days Parade and Gilbert Half Marathon and 10K on Nov. 23 will bring road restrictions and closures throughout Gilbert.

Gilbert Road will be closed Nov. 23 from Guadalupe Road to Hackamore Street from 6 a.m.-noon. This includes closure to business deliveries. Businesses will be accessible from the surrounding streets or by foot.

Rolling street closures will be in effect around the city from 6 a.m.-noon Nov. 23 along the parade, half-marathon and 10K run routes.

Parade participants will stage on the southbound side of Gilbert Road between Juniper Avenue and Guadalupe Road and in the southeast and southwest shopping center parking lots of Gilbert and Guadalupe roads.

The parade will head south on Gilbert Road from Junipe to the Gilbert School District Building just south of Elliot Road. The parade is anticipated to conclude by 11:30 a.m., and Gilbert Road is expected to reopen at noon.

Parking on Gilbert Road is not permitted at any time. Parking will be available at various locations in the Heritage District, including the Vaughn Avenue and Hearne Way parking garage.
