Traffic control changes frequently as work at Higley and Baseline continues

Gilbert is improving and reconstructing the Baseline and Higley roads intersection.

Traffic control changes regularly depending on the work being done at any given time.

Traffic has been restricted in the left lane on Baseline from Sunnyvale Avenue to Higley Road westbound and from Claiborne Avenue to Higley Road eastbound. As the project enters its next phase, the right lanes will be restricted.

The project began March 11 and is expected to run into December.

The cost is $5.03 million. Regional and town of Gilbert funds are being used to pay the cost, as well as developer contributions.
