Second Heritage District parking garage opens to public

The town of Gilbert opened the second parking garage in the Heritage District on March 16.

The Hearne Plaza Garage has nearly 600 spaces and six electric vehicle charging stations. Drivers can access the garage behind O.H.S.O. Brewery, 335 N. Gilbert Road, Ste. 102, from Vaughn Avenue, east of Gilbert Road.

Access from Hearne Way, which is being constructed, starts March 25.

Crews are finishing the top floor, which is closed to parking until completion.

The town funded the garage at a cost of $18.5 million.
