Gilbert Road improvements continue between Baseline and Guadalupe


The town is conducting a major reconstruction of deteriorated asphalt pavement on Gilbert Road from Baseline Road to north of Guadalupe Road.

Status: Crews are finishing work on lateral lines to the west side of Gilbert between Guadalupe and Houston Avenue. To accommodate this work from the main pipeline to the west side of Gilbert in various locations, southbound Gilbert traffic will be shifted for crews to work in the curb and center southbound lanes. Upon completion, work will shift to the east side of Gilbert. Traffic control will be for two lanes open to traffic in each direction.

Timeline: Nov. 19-September

Cost: $6.15 million
