Germann and Higley water main work finishing this month


The town is installing a reclaimed water main along Higley Road from one-half mile north of Ocotillo Road to Germann Road and along Germann from Higley to one quarter mile to the west. This project is to close a critical loop in the reclaimed water-distribution system. The town is doing so in order to better meet customer demands.

Status: The project is in final closeout. Crews have removed traffic control.

Timeline: Aug. 29-late February

Cost: $5.4 million

Funding source: system development fees
