Here are three restaurants that recently closed in Gilbert.

Copper 48 closed in the Heritage District at 366 N. Gilbert Road, Gilbert, in January. The gastropub had rebranded in 2020 from Nico Heirloom Kitchen. www.nicoaz.com


Da’Bayou Creole Kitchen closed in the Heritage District at 313 N. Gilbert Road, Gilbert, in November. The music, food and drinks reflected Creole culture.

Waldo’s BBQ closed its Gilbert location at 1524 E. Williams Field Road, Ste. 101, Gilbert, at the end of November. The catering business and Mesa location remain open. 480-807-6475. www.waldosbarbeque.com
