Aldi plans to open Gilbert store in December

German discount grocery chain Aldi has broken ground and is building a Gilbert location at 1801 E. Pecos Road. The store is slated to open in December, according to a company announcement July 21.

The company is also opening stores in Chandler, Peoria and Goodyear in November and December.


Between the four locations, the store is expecting to bring 90 new jobs, according to the announcement. www.aldi.us
