The town of Gilbert is seeking applicants for three positions on the Judicial Selection and Advisory Board.

The volunteers who serve on the board will review applications for judges of the municipal court, recommend to the Gilbert Town Council the best qualified persons to become full-time town judges, evaluate the performance of incumbent judges and advise council about renewing contracts for judicial services.

Council will appoint the board members. Applicants must be town residents who are not licensed attorneys.

Council will designate the length of term for each member to provide for staggered terms at the time of their appointment, with the appointees serving for one-, two- or three-year terms.
