The openings are:
- One four-year term on the Fire and Police Public Safety Retirement System Local Pension Board. The board decides questions of eligibility and service and makes determinations as to the right of any claimant of the Gilbert fire and police departments to a benefit under the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System. The board meets monthly or less.
- One partial term, lasting through March 12, 2023, on the Industrial Development Authority. The authority is a public corporation, incorporated to recommend to Gilbert Town Council projects the town should endorse for tax-exempt, low-interest bond financing made available by federal law for certain eligible construction projects. The authority typically meets annually.
- Two volunteer positions of the Redevelopment Commission, one full four-year term and one partial term. The commission advises Gilbert Town Council on matters related to the redevelopment area in downtown Gilbert. The commission typically meets monthly or less.
