Honor America’s veterans at Gilbert’s public ceremony Nov. 7



The town of Gilbert will hold a Veterans Day event for the public Thursday, Nov. 7, with retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Talley as the keynote speaker. Talley was the Chief of Army Reserve and Commanding General of the U.S. Army Reserve Command from 2012-16. Patriotic music will start at 11 a.m. with the ceremony at 11:30 a.m. A free lunch with beverages will be served after the ceremonies. Free. Civic Center Campus, 50 E.
