New rendering gives public a look at The Strand @ Gilbert water park


The Strand @ Gilbert water park released an updated rendering July 11. No new information was released with the rendering. Town Council approved the public-private partnership Feb. 21.

    • Not sure if people understand this, but We LIVE IN A FREAKING DESERT! Stop wasting water resources on things like this. Looks like a fun park, but come on people. We weren’t meant to live in this place in the first place. Just seems like a real slap to the face of mother nature.

      • Water resources are a non-issue if managed properly. In fact, Alex, residential usage of water is in the single digit percentages compared to agriculture and livestock usage. You may want to do some research on the subject before thinking that something even as large as this park would have any impact on ‘mother nature’.
