Gilbert Road to be repaved through Heritage District starting May 21

The town of Gilbert will repave a 1.5-mile stretch of Gilbert Road from Olive Avenue, south of Guadalupe Road, to Long Meadow Drive, north of Warner Road—a stretch that includes the Heritage District.

Gilbert update for May 20: Seven new cases in town

The six ZIP codes that cover Gilbert have 266 confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to data from the Arizona Department of Health Services. That is an increase of seven cases from the previous day.



Gilbert Town Council creates veterans advisory board

The Gilbert Town Council voted May 19 to create a Veteran and Military Advisory Board.

Council Member Bill Spence, a former U.S. Navy lieutenant commander, will serve as the council liaison.

Gilbert, Ray roads intersection has left-turn restriction

Drivers will be unable to turn left when traveling north from Gilbert Road onto Ray Road through June 4.
