Summer school programs in Gilbert Public Schools will be held online this year, the district announced. For families who have registered a student, a member of the relevant team from the district will be in touch to give information on options.

Higley USD has released its meals menu for the week on its free meal service.
Case count
The Arizona Department of Health Services reported 204 COVID-19 cases across the six Gilbert ZIP codes.
Maricopa County Department of Public health reported 4,618 COVID-19 cases Monday, May 4 and 168 virus-related deaths. Statewide, the Arizona Department of Health Services reported 8,919 COVID-19 cases and 362 total deaths.
