The project is being developed by Remington Nevada, a commercial land development company in the Southwest. Remington Nevada’s founder and CEO David DelZotto said it is natural for the company to invest in the town.
“Gilbert is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country, so it was a natural fit for our team to invest in this area,” DelZotto said in a press release. “Gilbert Warner shopping center is going to provide much-needed amenities to meet the demand of the nearby residents and commuters.”
Gilbert Warner shopping center will be spearheaded by a two-story, 30,000-square-foot Planet Fitness. The space will also include Black Rock Coffee, Luxe Nails, Pacific Dental and BMO Harris Bank, amongst other tenants.
Phase 1 of the development’s construction is expected to be complete by mid-2020, according to the release.
