How is this newspaper printed?

Did you know the paper you’re holding in your hands came all the way from Pflugerville, Texas?

While our staff works and lives in or near Gilbert, our company headquarters in Pflugerville prints all of our 33 editions across the U.S. from one facility.

Once our paper is ready to send off to the presses, our in-house graphic designer for Gilbert, Isabella Short, prepares each page to be sent to a state-of-the-art Goss Magnum Compact printing press—one of only four in the world. The others are in New York, Mexico City and Singapore.

From there, our paper is printed on domestically sourced, eco-friendly paper using soy-based ink in our facility, which recycles more than 60 tons of paper a month.

Then, it is bound and shipped—the printing plant has a U.S. Post Office Station on-site—to you, for you to enjoy and keep you informed each month.
