ADOT announces restrictions, closures on Loop 101 through Chandler

The Arizona Department of Transportation announced upcoming closures and restrictions on a stretch of Loop 101 as crews work to add a travel lane in each direction in a project that is expected to be complete sometime in summer 2020.

Southbound Loop 101 will be closed between the US 60 Freeway and Elliot Road from 8 p.m. Monday, July 13, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 14. Northbound Loop 101 will be closed between Warner Road and US 60 from 9 p.m. Friday, July 17, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 20.


The northbound on-ramp at Guadalupe Road will remain closed continuously through 5 a.m. Friday, July 17. The northbound off-ramp at Baseline Road will be closed nightly from 8 p.m.-5 a.m. from Monday, July 13, through the morning of Friday, July 17. The northbound ramps to eastbound and westbound US 60 will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, to 5 a.m. Friday, July 17.

Northbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes nightly between Guadalupe and Baseline roads from 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, to 5 a.m. Friday, July 17.

Northbound Price Road will be narrowed to one lane between Baseline Road and US 60 from 5 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, July 15.
