ADOT announces upcoming closures, restrictions on Loop 101 through Chandler

The Arizona Department of Transportation announced upcoming closures and restrictions on a stretch of Loop 101 through Chandler due to an ongoing effort to add a new travel lane in each direction on the freeway.

The right-turn lane on westbound Chandler Boulevard will be closed at Loop 101 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, May 22.


The right lane on westbound Chandler Boulevard and the inside left-turn lane on eastbound Chandler Boulevard at the Loop 101 interchange will be closed daily from 5 a.m.-5 p.m. from Tuesday, May 26 through Thursday, May 28.

Southbound Loop 101 will be closed between Elliot Road and Loop 202 from 9 p.m. Friday, May 29, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 1.

Southbound travelers can use the Price frontage road. Drivers who wish to travel eastbound on Loop 202 can use Dobson Road south to reconnect with Loop 202. For westbound Loop 202 travel, drivers can use McClintock Drive south to reconnect with Loop 202.
