ADOT announces new closures, restrictions on Loop 101 through Chandler

The Arizona Department of Transportation announced closures and restrictions in place on Loop 101 from April 17-21. The closures and restrictions are due to an ongoing effort to add a travel lane in each direction on a stretch of the freeway.

Northbound Loop 101 will be closed between Loop 202 and Elliot Road from 4 a.m.-8 p.m. April 18.

Southbound Loop 101 will be closed at Ray Road from 4 a.m.-8 p.m. April 19.

The northbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Guadalupe Road will be closed from 8 p.m. April 17 to 8 a.m. April 18 and from 5 p.m. April 19, to 3 a.m. April 20.

Northbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to three lanes between Guadalupe and Baseline roads from 8 p.m. April 17 to 8 a.m. April 18 and from 5 p.m. April 19 to 3 a.m. April 20.


The southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Price Road will be closed from 10 p.m. April 17 to 5 a.m. April 20.

The northbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Baseline Road will remain closed until 5 a.m. April 20.
