Chandler Boulevard to close in both directions overnight Nov. 7

The Arizona Department of Transportation is closing Chandler Boulevard in both directions at Loop 101 beginning at 9 p.m. Nov. 7 as crews continue to work to expand the freeway by a travel lane in each direction.

Chandler Boulevard will reopen after 5 a.m. Nov. 8, according to ADOT officials.


In addition, southbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes overnight through the morning of Nov. 8, and northbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes at Guadalupe Road from 9 p.m. Nov. 7 to 5 a.m. Nov. 8.

No new restrictions or closures are scheduled over the weekend in observance of Veterans Day on Nov. 11, according to ADOT.
