ADOT warns drivers of Loop 101 closures

More closures have been announced this week as the work to widen Loop 101 continues.

The Arizona Department of Transportation will soon close portions of Loop 101 between Baseline Road and Loop 202 as part of an ongoing project to widen the freeway by one travel lane in each direction.

Westbound Chandler Boulevard will be closed at Loop 101 from 9 p.m. Oct. 24 to 5 a.m. Oct. 25. Northbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes at Chandler Boulevard and remain as such through the morning of Oct. 25, and the northbound on-ramp at Price Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Oct. 24 to 5 a.m. Oct. 25.

In addition, the southbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Warner Road and off-ramp at Ray Road will close and will remain closed until 5 a.m. Nov. 26.
