Arizona Department of Transportation officials said drivers who use Interstate 10 in Chandler and on the Gila River Indian Community should plan for lane closures between Oct. 16-20.

The closures come as transportation crews are scheduled to install overhead signs and pavement markings.

Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane between Wild Horse Pass Boulevard and Queen Creek Road from 9 p.m. Oct. 16 to 5 a.m. Oct. 17. The eastbound interstate will also be narrowed to one lane between Riggs and Goodyear roads from 9 p.m. Oct. 17 to 5 a.m. Oct. 18, and the eastbound left lane will be closed between Nelson and Gasline roads between 9 p.m. Oct. 18 and 5 a.m. Oct. 19.

Additionally, I-10 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions at Dirk Lay Road from 9 p.m. Oct. 19 to 5 a.m. Oct. 20.
