The city of Chandler will present findings of the community needs survey for the city's parks master plan at a virtual meeting Sept. 15 at 6 p.m.

The parks master plan has been in the works for about a year. The plan serves as a guide for city staff and City Council to allocate funding and address needs.

Chandler City Council is scheduled to have a work session about the parks master plan Sept. 14. According to supporting documents on the agenda, feedback from the community has placed priority on fitness and wellness; walking, biking and jogging paths; general visitation of parks; and outdoor and adventure programs.

There are still several steps before the final master plan is approved by City Council.
