Iconic Chandler plane to move to Veterans Oasis Park

A Chandler landmark is getting a new home, according to a news release from the city of Chandler. The F-86D Sabre Dog Korean War-era plane will move from the corner of Delaware Street and Chandler Boulevard to Veterans Oasis Park, located at 4050 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler.

Whataburger coming to south Chandler

It is not yet known when the fast-food burger chain will open in this location.

Lola's Liquors coming soon to downtown Chandler

Signage has gone up at the space located at 64 S. San Marcos St., Chandler, though an opening date has not yet been announced.

East Valley Jewish Community Center and St. Vincent de Paul to start kosher food pantry

The East Valley Jewish Community Center will start hosting a monthly kosher food pantry beginning Oct. 27 in partnership with St. Vincent de Paul, according to a news release from the EVJCC.


Howler’s Restaurant & Sports Bar explains reasoning for closing Gilbert location

In an email responding to a query from Community Impact Newspaper, the corporate owner Group71 said, the "landlord in Gilbert [has] unexpectedly changed lease terms, and our CEO['s] health condition [has led] us to a decision to leave [the] sports bar industry for good."
