The city of Chandler will host its annual State of the City virtually this year at 6 p.m. Feb. 18, according to a news release from the city.

Mayor Kevin Hartke and Chandler City Council will focus on the city's "perseverance and strength as a community and how innovation allowed City departments, businesses and nonprofits alike to adapt, connect and serve residents during the pandemic," according to the news release. Hartke also will highlight Chandler’s significant accomplishments from 2020 and take a look forward into the coming year.

The event will be livestreamed on the City's website (http://chandleraz.gov/video), Facebook (www.facebook.com/cityofchandleraz) and YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/cityofchandler). The event also will be broadcast live on cable TV (Cox Channel 11, CenturyLink Channel 8502 and on Orbital Cable in Sun Lakes).
