Chandler USD to distribute technology devices for students Aug. 1

Students in Chandler USD will be able to pick up devices for remote learning Aug. 1, according to the district.

Chandler USD officials sent an email to parents and guardians July 27 who indicated that their student would need to borrow a device from the district to complete online coursework.

"CUSD is committed to supporting students during this remote learning experience," read the email.

Parents and students need to sign a student device loan agreement prior to device distribution.

The district will follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines during the distribution process. All devices will be distributed from the Chandler USD Transportation Department located at 3750 S. Center Pointe Parkway in Chandler. Chandler's first day of remote learning is Aug. 5.


Designated times on Aug. 1 (by student last name):

A-F 7-9 a.m.

G-K 9-11 a.m.

L-P 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Q-U 1-3 p.m.

V-Z 3-5 p.m.

Allotted for families that are unable to attend the scheduled time: 5-7 p.m.

If families are unable to attend the distribution, arrive during the designated times below:

Aug. 3 7 a.m.-5 p.m.

Aug. 4 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
