Amazon to open delivery station in Chandler, provide 'hundreds' of job opportunities

Amazon will open a new delivery station in Chandler, according to an Amazon spokesperson.

Crews are working on construction at the delivery station, located at 2550 N. Nevada St., Chandler.

Gilbert will let mask order expire, but county’s regulation stays in place



The town of Gilbert’s face mask order will be allowed to expire at 5 p.m. July 19, but residents must still stay covered under Maricopa County’s regulation.

Across Chandler's six ZIP codes, there were 4,417 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 on July 15, according to data from the state—129 newly reported cases from the previous day. That overall number of cases represents an increase of 23.73% across the city in the past seven days.

Prescribed Health and Beauty opens in Gilbert

Prescribed Health and Beauty opened June 8 at 2680 S. Val Vista Drive, Ste. 140, Gilbert. Dr. Leila King Peterson serves patients of all ages with comprehensive health care, including well-child checks, annual exams and pap smears, diagnosis of illness, care for chronic diseases and cosmetic injections.
