About 22% of the eligible population in Chandler has been fully vaccinated, according to new data from the Maricopa County Department of Public Health. Roughly 21,985 Chandler residents have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine per 100,000 of the eligible population, according to county data.
As of Feb. 11, 553,202 vaccines have been administered, according to the county. Statewide, more than 1 million doses of the vaccine have been administered, according to the Arizona Department of Health Services. Just under 225,000 people are fully vaccinated statewide, having received both doses of the vaccine. A majority of vaccinations administered in Maricopa County have been in people age 75 and older, according to data from the county.
